WEDDING PAPER EDIT · GETWAB INC.
Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we use it and the choices you have.
Effective October 10, 2026
Who is responsible
Wedding Paper Edit is developed and operated by GETWAB INC., a U.S.-based company. This policy covers information processed through our website, editor, customer accounts and support. Contact us through Help & support with privacy questions or requests.
Information you provide
We receive your email and account information; wedding names, dates, venues and addresses; guest names and portraits; text, photographs and links you add to designs; your saved projects and edits; and messages you send to support. Wedding details and photographs are optional unless needed for the design you choose. Please provide other people’s information only when you have permission or another appropriate basis to do so.
Account, device and usage information
We use session and device identifiers to recognize your browser and keep your collection accessible. Our systems process security and technical information such as IP addresses, request logs and authentication attempts. We record selected product events, such as creating a project, editing details, viewing checkout and completing a payment, to understand the service and diagnose problems. These events are linked to your workspace.
Payments
Square processes card payments. Card details are entered through Square’s payment components rather than stored by Wedding Paper Edit. We retain order details, amounts, currency, payment identifiers and payment or refund status to fulfill purchases, provide support and keep business records. Square handles information according to its own privacy notices.
How we use information
We use information to create and save your designs, generate previews and PDFs, connect your collection to your account, verify email addresses, restore access, process orders and refunds, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, maintain security and improve the product. We send operational messages such as sign-in links, order updates and password resets. Optional reminder messages depend on your email preferences; capturing an email does not itself enroll you in marketing.
Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies maintain sessions and recognize returning devices. Browser storage remembers preferences and may hold recovery copies of unsaved work. Clearing it can interrupt guest access or remove local recovery copies. The current service records its own product events; it does not currently load Google Analytics or Google advertising tags. If we introduce optional advertising or analytics technologies, we will update this notice and provide choices or consent controls where required.
When information is shared
We share information as needed with providers that support hosting, data storage, email delivery, payment processing and technical operations. Authorized personnel may access it to operate the service or help with a support request. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in a business transfer subject to applicable protections. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not publish your uploaded photographs or use them for our marketing without your permission.
Storage and security
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our hosting and service providers operate, including Europe. We use access controls and technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security. We retain collections to support continued editing and downloads, and retain transaction, security and support records as needed for their purposes, legal obligations and dispute resolution. Moving a piece to the archive is not permanent deletion. Deletion from active systems does not necessarily remove backup copies immediately.
Your choices and requests
You can update wedding details, replace photographs, manage available email preferences and archive pieces in your workspace. To request access, correction, deletion of your account or uploaded information, or a copy of your information, contact Help & support. We may verify your identity before acting. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to object, restrict processing or complain to a privacy regulator. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security or transaction purposes; we will explain applicable limitations.
Children and guest information
The service is intended for adults planning celebrations and is not directed to children under 13. Adults may include family photographs in their designs only with appropriate permission. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and address it.
Updates
We will update this policy when our data practices change and display the current effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate. Links you place in designs and external websites have their own privacy practices.
